We are very proud of our Christian Ethos at Wick School. The understanding and meaning of faith is encouraged together with the promotion of Christian values through the experiences it offers to all its pupils. The historic foundation of this school ensures that the school preserves and develops its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England, in partnerships with the local Parish Church and diocese.
The school has strong links with the local church. The whole school visits church on various occasions during the year – Harvest Festival, Christmas, Easter and in July for a special Leavers’ Service. Parents and friends are always welcome at these services.
Reverend Tim Bell, regularly visits school to take an assembly or take part in other activities and events.
Pupils and their families are also invited to join the church for their weekly services. In particular the Family Service at 10.00 a.m. on the fourth Sunday of the month and to the 4.00 p.m. service called Four for All on the first and third Sunday of the month which is an informal gathering with songs and activities especially aimed at the school families.
