Learning an Instrument
At Wick Primary Schools there are lots of opportunities to learn and play different instruments. We currently have whole class ukulele lessons in our Year 4 class and whole class recorder learning in Year 3. There are also lots of different ways that you can learn instruments of your choice. At the moment, instrumental lessons are offered to Key Stage Two pupils only.
Our children have been learning with Red Music for many years and currently have the opportunity to learn keyboard, ukulele and guitar. These are individual or group lessons and last 20 minutes. For more information about learning an instrument with Red Music then please follow the link below:
Do you want to be a rock star?! Well now is your chance! If your child would like the opportunity to learn an instrument in the context of a band then they can also sign up for lessons with Rock Steady. They will be placed into a band to play either keyboard, guitar or drums, create a band name and then perform throughout the year.
